The document works in conjunction with your Fire Indication Panel (FIP), an important tool in identifying the location of the alarm which has been triggered in an emergency. The facility areas are divided into zones in which the facility’s Fire Indication Panel (FIP) groups fire detection systems. Zone Block Plans help aid in locating which zone an alarm has been triggered in and assists in the effective and efficient evacuation of staff, occupants, and visitors.
